This morning I went for a walk at the Arboretum. They have a small collection of roses there and I meandered through them. There is one bush of pink roses that is in bloom right now and all of the bees were boisterously bobbing from one bloom to the next seeking their beloved pollen.
It reminded me of my visit to Butchart Gardens in Victoria, BC this past June. If you have the opportunity to visit at that time of year, you'll find the rose garden in full bloom. And it is magnificent. The sheer abundance of types is awe-inspiring. They are all so well loved and cared for. It is truly a special experience to walk through and discover all of the varieties, sniff them to see how fragrant they are and generally just marvel in the delicate beauty.
That memory inspired had a new idea to gather up my rose themed products under a new collection - The Rose Garden Collection. There are a few products that have been on hiatus for a few years - our rose sugar scrub and rose himalayan salt bath salt to be specific.
As I was putting it together this morning on my computer, I couldn't help but add this quote that lives on my bulletin board,
